As the increasing numbers of clients we’re handling right now, it is time for us to implement a client management software in our website. We’ve tested some of these open source application and decided on using dotProject. The software didn’t come in handy anyway, we still need to do some code modification to suit our needs.
We are still testing it, thinking that there might be bugs or further modifications to the application we need to fix from time to time.
However, this implementation add one more valuable service to our clients. Work status is easier to be tracked now. As a web based application, it allow both our clients and us to check the work progress anytime and anywhere.

Finally, after 3 years of the old Beegamax website, we’ve finished the revamp and put it online. The new site is keeping its dark/black colours to retain its style. Besides, the dark colour looks classy to me :P.
I really like to adopt nature elements to this new website. That’s why you’ll notice a slight dark green colour and leaves sketches in the background.
It is not a fully flash site as a couple of versions I did before. Flash is used in the slideshows on frontpage only. I’m trying to follow the Web 2.0 design trends here.
The website is build up using css and div tags. It’s a tableless design in back-coding. In fact, I’ve built this website without designing the layout in Photoshop first. I did it directly in Dreamweaver. Photoshop is used in creating graphic elements only. Just trying out my skills anyway :P. (more…)

We’ve just finished transferring the domain and hosting from a Singapore provider to a domain provider in Indonesia. The domain was hosted in Yahoo Small Business before. The process is pretty confusing at the start, but after reading from the Help section, contacting Yahoo Support and seeking around Google, I found it is not that difficult to do.
I’d like to share some points to take note if you need to do domain transfer in future:
- Make sure you have access to the domain control panel from your old registrar or domain provider
- Make sure your domain status in “unlock”
- You need to find the “Authorization code” or “domain secret” in control panel. Usually it’s a random characters and numbers
- You need to have access to the “admin email” of your domain, to confirm on domain transfer
If you don’t have one of those points above, it will be pretty hard to transfer across. Thanks to my old provider on sharing this information. (more…)

Just an announcement. We’ll be transferring our domain from Yahoo! Small Business to a provider in Indonesia next week. During this transfer, our website will much probably be down for a couple of days or maybe a few weeks, depends on the DNS refresh and server cache. You will not be able to send us email as well. So, if you have any queries or message for us, please send it to wahidin@gmail.com temporarily.
Will post it again later when everything is up.

It’s been a while since my latest post. I’ve been very busy on daily works for these couple of weeks. Besides, I’ve also designing a new job board which I name it JobsKafe.com.
I’ve seen some of the similar job board anywhere on the internet like authenticjobs.com and jobsandgigs.com. Well, these job boards are mostly for design/programming/IT related vacancies however, but developing a similar website for all type of jobs will be good as well.
JobsKafe.com’s concept is about bringing up a simple job board to help employers on posting their vacancies and assisting jobseekers on finding the right jobs.

I don’t know what is happening to this ‘Capital City of Indonesia’. It is the biggest, the most prosperous, the most populated, the most etc etc etc city in Indonesia, but it is also the most polluted, city with the worse environment, and the last thing I want to mention is, it is the Capital City with Huge Flood happening every 5 years. The previous huge flood was happening in 2002, and before that was in 1996. I wasn’t living in Jakarta during the 90’s so I wasn’t sure about it. But I assumed it should be true while it has been told by some guys I met these couple of days.
