We have moved to a new office. Actually the initiative to move has been in my mind since last year, but once looking at the stuffs we had at the office made us too lazy to start. But this time, I got to make it happen however. The area is too crowded and noisy already. From the daylight until midnight, there’s always someone or a couple of people knocking on doors, yelling here and there, cars and motorbike just parked ignorantly that sometimes I can’t even drive my car out or back in house. Even if I complaint the guy who blocked the door, the next day, they still put the vehicles there acting innocently just as no complaint has been made. I’m still wondering why those people like that. One of the personnel who has important role in business is the front office staff. Front office staff is the first person your customers, prospects or visitors will see and talk to. It includes Receptionist or clerk, Customer Service and Phone Operator. Why would I say it is important? Because it is the first person who meet customers, prospects, buyers ot even guests.
Let’s say there’s a prospects who call your company asking for a product he might want to buy. The purpose of this call is generally asking about product information, specifications and price. What would it be if your front officer don’t know how to answer their questions, not really sure about the specifications? I can guarantee that the prospects will definitely not going to buy your products.
Here is another example, one of your customers have a problem with the product (let’s say mobile phone) they purchased a while ago. The mobile phone has totally die after 1 week of purchase and he needs an assistance on the problem. So he called the customer service and tell her about it. What if your customer service answer something like this, “uh oh, I’m not really sure about it, I’ll get you to someone else”. Then she passed it to another girl which also answer almost exactly the same. Then she passed your phone (which is being hold for 5 minutes) to “technical support”. And after that, the technical guy would just recommend you to come to their support centre. What do you think about it. In the end your customer might get a solution to his problem, but I’m sure he has had a bad image on your customer service already. (more…)

I’ve seen many websites are being abandoned after online. No marketing or any promotions are being approached to it. Some of them look outdated in terms of contents and graphical elements. Some of them stated ‘Copyright © 2002′ while it is in year 2007 already. And in the end, the website owners feel they are not giving much impacts to the business and think they don’t worth to spend a dime for.
Well, they did tickle my nerve a bit though. In individualistic point of view, they’re not my websites, so basically they’re not something I should mind or care anyway. But in broader thoughts, it is something I can give my hands on. Probably some tips would be good to help out.

If you ask me what I would like to do in spare times over weekends or holidays, I would like to answer sitting in Starbucks Coffee. Yes it is my favourite place to hang around with my family and friends, grab an interesting book to read or bring a laptop to surf the net.
In fact, there’s a certain reason why I like to sit there while there’re so many coffee shops around. Do you think I really like the coffee? Not really.. Mostly it is because of the brand. It sounds cooler compare to sitting in an unknown coffee shops.
When you enter into Starbucks coffee shop, you’ll get hit with the looks, sounds and smells. The store layout and color scheme are consistent between shops. The counter can just be found as you walk in and you’ll hear the sounds of coffee machine.

Most businesses start out small. Business takes a very deep focus and concentration to make it grows big. Business is not supposed to be boring. It has to be enjoyable and entertaining. I understand that most of start-up owners have to spend some times to set it up and run it. But be careful of your own health. It is something that money can’t buy. These are some points I would like to share with others. Some things that I have in mind while running Beegamax Creative to be one of the coolest design house in town!
1. Make Balance Between Work and Play
I can’t emphasize enough the time of having fun outside works. Getting out of works at 6.00pm and have enough time to play around. I am a workaholic person who can work more than 24 hours a day, without getting my body in bed, who just realize that life is not just about working. Though sometimes I still works for that long, but I’ve tried to reduce it.
There are a couple of nice thing to enjoy after working hours. For me, I love gadget. All stuffs made out of this tiny little machine is always an apple of my eye, from digital camera to PS2 ( I’m not going to buy a PS3 first, it just doesn’t worth the price this time).

Some website owner will think that after creating a website, there won’t be anything more to do and just let the website run by its own. This idea is totally wrong!
A website is actually like a store in offline world. When you buy or rent a store, added the furniture to display the products, it is not just stop there, you need to advertise your store/products/company to the appropriate newspapers, magazines or other promotional tools like brochures, flyers, etc.
In the online case, it is very important to keep updating and improving it to attract visitor, boost revenue, grows the business and do the necessary marketing adjustment.
