SEO has been a must-do-stuff for website owner. But many people still confused about this, especially how to do the optimization. 90% of clients and prospects we met has asked about this. Questions varied from what is SEO to how to do it effectively.

When you decide to own a website, it’s best to register your own domain name, ie. www.yourcompany.com, rather than using a free hosting. URL address like yourcompany.wordpress.com or yourcompany.blogspot.com only give good optimization to wordpress.com or blogspot.com. Your company or product brand (if you develop a website for a specific brand) will not have effective SEO.

2. META Tags matter
Be sure to fill up your page title with your business name, keywords with words and phrases related to your business, descriptions with the best sentences describing your business. When we search in Google, these META Tags appear in results.

Social media can help increase your website popularity. Your ‘friends’ will come to your site and it definitely make your ranking higher in search engine. It’s also an excellent way to share your company profile, articles and press release. Build up networks and begin answering questions that might occur.

SEO is not an easy job, though it sounds easy when reading the tips above. It really takes a continuous time and efforts to do. It’s not a one day work but it can take months or years to succeed. However, it worths to do. What’s the use of having a website if nobody even knows it exist?
